What is One Time Link?

One Time Link is a Slack integration that lets you share sensitive information securely without storing it permanently in your chat history. Instead of pasting passwords, API keys, or confidential data directly into Slack, you generate a one-time link that expires after being viewed once or after a set time period. The recipient clicks the link, sees the secret, and it's gone. This approach keeps sensitive data out of Slack's searchable message archives, reducing the risk of accidental exposure if your workspace is breached or if someone gains access to old conversations. It's particularly useful for teams that need to share credentials, tokens, or other secrets regularly but want to maintain better security practices.
