What is TripIt?

TripIt automatically converts your travel confirmations into organised itineraries. You forward your booking emails (flights, hotels, car rentals, restaurants) to TripIt, and it extracts the details and creates a structured day-by-day plan. All your travel documents are stored centrally, and you can share trip details with family and friends. The free version covers basic itinerary creation and document storage. The Pro tier adds real-time flight status notifications, mobile boarding passes, detailed seat maps, and priority customer support. TripIt works with bookings from any major travel provider, so it doesn't matter where you book. TripIt is useful if you coordinate travel with others, manage multiple bookings across different sites, or want a single place to access all trip information. The email-forwarding approach means no manual data entry; the service does the organisational work for you.
